Heritage Bible Institute

The Heritage Bible Institute (HBI) is an in-house preacher training program for the churches of Christ.

 Since it was established in 1982 as the National Bible Institute, the Institute has trained over 500 gospel preachers and missionaries who are actively working in Ghana, Benin, Mali, Cote D’ Ivoire, Senegal, Uganda, Liberia, South Sudan, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau and Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria. Year on year, HBI also organizes special training for elders, deacons, Bible teachers, women and youth leaders. HBI has satellite campuses across Ghana.

Training Programs

Foundations in Biblical Studies: Two years Part-time (Non-Residential)
Intermediate Studies in Ministry: Two years Full-time (Residential) or three years Part-time (Non-Residential)
Advanced Studies in Ministry and Missions: Four years Part-time (Non-Residential)
Young Scholars Bible Training Program: For tertiary students and young professionals—Two-years Part-Time (Residence optional)
