Mr. Samuel K. Ayim (Esq) is the founder and CEO of Focus Life Group and the Centre for Transformational Leadership in Africa – (CTL Africa) which focuses on leadership and personal development.
He is a John C. Maxwell certified leadership coach and has been a motivational teacher since 2004 on the mentorship level. He is a member of the International Federation of Coaches and facilitator of BCA Leadership, a Pan-African executive coaching company. He is a former Group General Counsel and company secretary of Ecobank Group where he was responsible for corporate governance for the Group. He is also a former legal adviser and company secretary of Ghana Stock Exchange. He currently holds directorship on the boards of several companies and institutions in Ghana.
Samuel has over 30 years of professional experience as a senior executive and a coach and trainer of senior level corporate executive across Africa; legal advisory; company secretarial practices; board and governance practices; banking, finance, investment and capital markets; and strategic management across sub-Saharan Africa with high international exposure. He is also a motivational teacher and speaker with special focus on senior corporate executives and professionals, church leaders, women and youth groups. He is an entrepreneur with businesses in leadership, personal development & coaching, real estate and transportation.
Samuel holds an LLB degree from the University of Ghana (1989); a Barrister-at-Law (BL) from the Ghana Law School (1991); an MBA in International Financial Management from Exeter University, UK (1995); a Past-Graduate Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration Law from Queen Mary University of London, UK (2008). He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association. Samuel is a Christian, married for 25 years and has five children
