You are welcome the Department of Nursing for Heritage Christian College (HCC), we are committed to giving back to society through the recognition that students have individual learning needs, institution has approved learning styles, community support systems, and cultural and ethnic accepted backgrounds in caring for patients who are individuals, families, and communities placed under care as unique persons with peculiar needs in the country and the world at large. The Nursing department believes in training students who will nurse their patients  with integrity, irrespective of their personal background with the fear of  God as a pillar to reckoned with. The programme has a strong desire to promote high level of professionalism, entrepreneurship, ethics and global competence, while maintaining good academic background which thrives on a valuable community-academia relationship via skill acquisition.

The overall aim of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree programme is to produce competent professional nurses who will be able to demonstrate high level knowledge, skills, attitude and technology in the provision of quality nursing care in small, simple and complex health situations.

Admission to HCC is competitive, but the admission process is a personal one. Each application is reviewed holistically to understand the strength of each student’s academic preparation including their performance on final exams, counselor recommendations, and their personal career interests. We seek applicants from a variety of geographic, social, cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
