Welcome to the Department of Midwifery at Heritage Christian University (HCU), renowned for its unique approach to education that nurtures students academically and prepares them for the international market. HCU excels in promoting Nursing and Midwifery education and develops competent, practical, and research-oriented professionals. Linked with institutions such as HCC-USA Foundation and several foreign universities(Abilene Christian University, Harding University, Lipscomb University ) for knowledge sharing among faculty, HCU offers a collaborative and well-structured environment for teaching and learning. We are open to individuals interested in pursuing Nursing and Midwifery at the bachelor’s level.
Admission to Heritage is competitive, but the admission process is a personal one. Each application is reviewed holistically to understand the strength of each student’s academic preparation including their performance on final exams, counselor recommendations, and their personal career interests. We seek applicants from a variety of geographic, social, cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
The program provides several courses that will help students develop the positive attitude towards community development.
