Three students of Heritage Christian College, a university in Amasaman-Accra are participating in this year’s Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge at the University of St.Thomas,Minneapolis,Minnesota in the USA. Team Clean Crop Fertilizer seeks to solve a key sanitation and agricultural challenge by turning urine into organic fertilizer. They are looking to grab back the $15,000 title in the worldwide student innovation challenge won by their seniors from Heritage Christian College in 2018 -Team Charcoal which turned human excreta into charcoal.
