Heritage Christian College Rolls Out Master’s Programmes

Heritage Christian College, Amasaman-Accra, marked a significant milestone in the annals of its journey with the inauguration of its innovative 12-month Master of Science (MSc.) programmes. The university, renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and entrepreneurial development, aims to provide students with an immersive and accelerated educational experience.

The 12-month MSc. programmes are in Accounting and Taxation, Accounting and Finance, and Human Resource Management. They are accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission and affiliated to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The programmes are designed to be intensive and comprehensive, offering a unique opportunity for students to dive deep into their chosen fields while maintaining a strong foundation in Christian values.

Dr. Samuel Twumasi-Ankrah, President of Heritage Christian College, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, adding that it marks a new era for Heritage Christian College. He said the university believes in empowering its students not only with academic knowledge but also with values-based education. He elaborated on the 5 Cs that form the Core Values of Heritage: Conviction, Character, Creativity, Compassion and Community.

The Vice-President and Provost of Heritage intimated that rolling out the postgraduate programmes is a testament to the university’s commitment to providing innovative and dynamic education. He said the curricula are meticulously crafted to ensure students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for both personal excellence and professional success.

The Assistant Registrar for the School of Graduate Studies and Research, Ms. Priscilla Dede Martey remarked that in addition to the academic rigour, the college is also dedicated to fostering a supportive and nurturing community for its students. She said there are small class sizes, hybrid learning, free tuition for professional exams and personalized attention from faculty members to create an environment conducive to meaningful learning and growth.
