A transformative journey began at Heritage Christian University College for the January 2024 freshmen and women. Led by the Students Support Service Department, the Freshers’ Orientation introduced the various offers of the university to the fresh students. They were informed about the university’s commitment to academic excellence and character development.
Orientation activities included interactive sessions with some departments of the university, campus tours, and team-building exercises to acquaint students with academic expectations to foster lasting connections, time with the Vice-President of the university among others. Students explored campus facilities such as ultramodern Learning Commons, the Computer Lab, the Media Centre and the Center for Entrepreneurship Philanthropy and Ethics.
The freshmen and women expressed delight at enrolling at Heritage Christian University College because it is not just an academic institution but a place for holistic growth and development. They said they were ready to embark on a journey of enlightenment and lasting friendships while imbibing the core values of the university: Conviction, Character, Creativity, Compassion and Community.
The orientation ended with a welcome worship service and food fellowship on Sunday January 21, 2024.
