Mr. Ernest Kofi Obeng is a Partner at Kensington Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants. He has extensive Board Room experience having served as Board Member or Director at the Ghana Meteorological Agency, Women’s World Bank Ghana Ltd., Union Trust Bank, Sierra Leone, SUSU Bank of Nigeria, Blue Beacon PLC, South Africa. He was the Portfolio Manager for Africa for the E+Co Global Impact Investment Fund. He has been a Financial Controller at the State Insurance Company of Ghana Ltd. (SIC), Executive Director of Finance for Great Consolidated Diamonds Ghana Ltd., Senior Accountant, College of Northwest London, Principal Consultant for West and Central Africa for Oxford Policy Management Ltd., UK; Director of Finance for Africa for AfriCap Microfinance Investment Fund, Management Accountant of United Response, London among others.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management from the Southbank University London and BSc. Business Administration (Accounting major) from the University of Ghana Business School. Ernest is a Member of the Nsawam Road Church of Christ and is married with three children.
