Welcome To Our Department

Hello and welcome to the Department of Management Studies. This department is situated in the School of Business and Leadership and currently offers two undergraduate courses which are Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management. Currently, plans are far advanced to introduce a course in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. In line with the pillars of HCC which are Entrepreneurship, Ethics, Global Competence and Philanthropy, the department is focused on ensuring that students who graduate from the department are nurtured to embrace an entrepreneurial mind-set and uphold highest ethical standards and also are able to compete with graduates from other universities in the world.

Career opportunities for marketing graduates include working in various portfolios/capacities which include but not limited to customer relationship managers, brand managers, advertising managers, marketing managers, digital marketing managers, market research analyst, social media managers, public relations officers, advertising managers, etc. Graduates who pursue a degree BBA in Human Resource Management can also work in various portfolios which include but not limited to employee relations manager, training and development coordinator, benefits administrator, human resource information systems (HRIS) specialist, payroll specialist, etc. With these opportunities in mind, we warmly welcome you to choose any of the courses in the Department of Management Studies, and you will surely enjoy your stay here at HCC.
